Science Fair Foundation BC Selected as Recipient of 2022 Ted Rogers Community Grant

Vancouver, BC - The Science Fair Foundation of BC is pleased to announce that they were selected as one of the recipients of the 2022 Ted Rogers Community Grants. 

“This generous donation from Rogers will allow us to provide STEM support through our Youth Innovation Showcase programming to more kids in BC and Yukon, breaking down the barriers to access to education,” said Madeleine Guenette, Executive Director of The Science Fair Foundation BC. 

Earlier today, Rogers announced it has awarded Ted Rogers Community Grants to over 70 registered charities and non-profits to support youth aged 15-29 in the areas of education, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, health and sport. Youth Innovation Showcase in its fourth year, was born out of the desire to create a platform to showcase the innovative ideas and solutions from youth and young adults between the ages of 12- 19 from across BC and Yukon.

Innovators interested in competing were asked to submit a 45-second selfie video outlining: who they are, where they are from, their age and a compelling pitch of their latest and greatest innovation.
