Science Fair Foundation of BC Launches Mentorship Program and Monthly Online Science Club Meetings

[Vancouver, BC, Sept. 5, 2023] – The Science Fair Foundation of British Columbia (SFFBC) is thrilled to announce the launch of its highly anticipated Mentorship Program and monthly Online Science Club Meetings.

The Mentorship Program, a cornerstone of the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing budding scientists, pairs students with experienced mentors from diverse scientific fields. This one-on-one mentorship will provide invaluable guidance, encouragement, and support as students embark on their scientific journeys to various levels of science fairs or STEM exibitions.

Additionally, the Science Fair Foundation of BC is excited to introduce its monthly Online Science Club Meetings. These interactive virtual sessions will bring together young science enthusiasts, educators, and experts for engaging discussions, a sort of open office hours to ask questions about projects, running science fairs, or anything related to science fairs.

“We are incredibly proud to launch our Mentorship Program and Online Science Club Meetings,” said Michael Unger, Manager of Community Engagement at the Science Fair Foundation of BC. “We know that many kids, parents and teachers get stuck at certain points in their science journey, we’re here to create a welcoming space for people to ask questions that may help kick start them back onto the process!”
