BC Students Win Big at the 2025 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Fredericton

The 2025 Canada-Wide Science Fair highlights the success of Canada's most promising young innovators


Vancouver, BC (June 12, 2025) - The Science Fair Foundation BC is excited to announce the winners from BC and the Yukon for the 2025 Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF), which just concluded in Fredericton, New Brunswick, from May 31st to June 7th, with many local students winning big.

From a vast participant pool, 385 students representing 96 regional science fairs were selected as finalists, advancing to the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF). Amongst this group, 53 students from BC and the Yukon took home awards for their exemplary projects.

The Canada-Wide Science Fair showcased the achievements of 385 finalists from across the country. With a keen eye for curiosity and creativity, this talented group gathered for a national week-long event to earn their spot as the top minds in Canada
